While email & SMS messages targeting special occasions or seasonal holidays may provide a great opportunity to reach contacts with engaging content & sales offers, these events may not apply to certain contacts.
In recent years, we've seen a growing number of brands allow contacts to opt-out of emails that may not be applicable, useful or relevant to them & their situation - like this example from Canva below.
If you'd like to offer similar functionality to your contacts, you can do so using our Preferences feature. It's a handy function that lets your contacts choose the types of emails they want to receive from you. For example: Newsletters, Events, Promotions.
If you don't yet use the Preferences feature, check out the guide linked above to learn more about setting it up.
For those already using it, you can add a "Seasonal / Special occasions" option to your existing list of preferences. That way, you could create an email (like the example above) which links contacts to your preferences form so they can make their desired adjustments.
- Email Preferences
- Link to a form from within an email (eg. Preferences form)
- Apply a Preference to your existing contacts
