Our platform includes CRM (Customer Relationship Management) functionality for tracking engagements with your contacts, allowing you to add additional data to a contact record and store the details of calls, meetings and more.
Although not a fully-featured CRM, the functions provided are generally sufficient for small business users. Keep in mind that our platform also supports integrations with some third-party CRM systems.
How-to Guide
Add a Note to a Contact Record
- Select Contacts from the sidebar.
- Locate the contact you wish to add a note to, and click . The contacts information screen will appear.
- On the right of the window, click Notes.
- Click .
- Enter the details as needed - such as a note name, the communication method, status, users assigned to the note, due date, details of the reminder email and more.
- Click . Your note had now been added to the contact record.
Edit Notes on a Contact Record
- Select Contacts from the sidebar.
- Locate the contact you wish to add a note to, and click . The contacts information screen will appear.
- On the right of the window, click Notes. Existing notes for this contact will be shown on screen.
- Click the (edit) icon next to the note you wish to edit. The note will open.
- Select Edit. Make any changes as required.
- Click . Your note had now been edited.
Add Attachments to a Note
When exporting notes, attachments are not included in the export. Rather, an online link to the attachment is included in the data export.
- Select Contacts from the sidebar.
- Locate the contact you wish to add a note to, and click . The contacts information screen will appear.
- On the right of the window, click Notes. Existing notes for this contact will be shown on screen.
- Click the (edit) icon next to the note you wish to edit. The note will open.
- Select Attachments, then . The Files & Images Manager will open, allowing you to select an existing asset to add to the contact's note, or upload a new one. Repeat the process if required. You've now added an attachment to the note.
Export CRM Notes
Although there are several ways to download / export contact information from our platform, the only export that will contain CRM data is the one triggered from the Account Settings area. When exporting list data in this way, your download will contain a seperate file (on a per-list basis) with CRM notes included.
