Although you can create events in our platform, the Eventbrite integration enhances your event capabilities by enabling a range of additional features such as ticket sales, the ability to run an event series, management of event capacities, multiple ticket types - and much more.
In this guide, we'll take you through connecting the Eventbrite integration.
Yes, you can use both event types in your email designs at the same time!
How-to Guide
Connecting To Eventbrite
- Select Integrations from the sidebar.
- Locate the Eventbrite panel and click .
- A popup window will appear, allowing you to log into Eventbrite. Follow the prompts on screen to log into the platform and when requested, the connection if you agree with the terms of use and so on.
- Once complete, you will be taken back to our platform.
Add (Connect To) an Event From Eventbrite
- Select Integrations from the sidebar.
- Locate the Eventbrite panel and click .
- Click Add Event. The add event dialog will appear.
- Use the dropdown at the top to select the Eventbrite event you'd like to add. You can also search within this dropdown or hit if an event you added in Eventbrite recently is not yet appearing in our platform (we only sync event data every few hours).
- Set a minimum ticket target. This field can be used to set a breakeven point for your event and is just used as an indicator.
- Finally, connect the event to a list so that our platform knows where to save contact records to.
- When done, click create an event email, create an event reminder automation, open the event in Eventbrite, resync the event (to get the latest data from Eventbrite) or to delete the event. . You will be returned to the main Eventbrite screen where your event will take a few moments to sync. Once complete, you will be able to view event data - such as the name, event image and event date(s) and ticket sales so far, as shown. All of this data comes from Eventbrite. You can also use the options provided to the right to edit the event connection for the event, view the event's contacts,
Disconnecting the Eventbrite Integration
- Select Integrations from the sidebar.
- Locate the Eventbrite panel and click .
- Click . The integration will now be disconnected.
When disconnecting from Eventbrite, any events you had sync'd across from Eventbrite will disappear from our platform. Furthermore, any of your event emails that made use of the Event component (if the component was connected to an Eventbrite event) will disconnect from the event - so any images or links within the email may cease to function. However, contact data in any lists that were connected to Eventbrite will remain.
