How-to Guide
If the majority of your recipients use Outlook to view their emails on, then we would recommend leaving the line-height setting at the default height option due to the formatting issues that can occur in older Outlook 2003/2010 versions.
Setting the Line Height Across an Entire Email
- Select Messages from the sidebar.
- Open an email for editing or create a new one.
- Click on the main background of your email (ie. off to the side somewhere within the email window)- outside of any components you may have placed. This ensures you have not selected anything, and are editing the base parameters of your mail - and not any of the components on the screen.
- Select the Styles tab on the left side.
- Locate the Body, Heading1, Heading2 (etc) panels - you may have to scroll down a little to see them.
- Adjust the Line Height setting by clicking on the drop down and selecting a new value.
Setting the Line Height in a Text Component
- Select Messages from the sidebar.
- Open an email for editing or create a new one.
- Double click on the text component you wish to adjust and highlight the text.
- Set the line height in the floating toolbar, as shown.
