If you've ever been stuck trying to come up with the right questions to ask on a survey, RSVP or poll, our AI list & form generator is here to help! Whether you're surveying customers, registering attendees, collecting feedback, or managing applications, asking the right questions can make all the difference.
This is where AI steps in as your ultimate list & form building assistant. In this guide, we'll show you how it works.
The form generated by our system can be customised as usual - including adding your own fields (questions), reworking existing ones and even removing those you don't need. Furthermore, if you don't need the form that we make for you, that's okay - you can just use the AI assistant just to come up with field ideas (and create the fields for you) - which you can then manually upload data into later on.
How-to Guide
Using AI To Create a List & Form
- Select Lists & Forms from the sidebar.
- Click
- Along the top, you'll see two options; Form or Survey. Set the toggle to the relevant options, depending on what you'd like to create (for this part of the guide, we'll focus on creating a standard form & list ...for surveys, scroll down to the second part of this guide).
- Enter a prompt for the AI to use for your form. In our example, we entered: 'A registration form for an in-person event called Data Insights Conference'.
- Next, set which fields you'd definitely like included on your form (email is required). Remember, you can always add, edit and remove the fields later on if needed.
- Finally, use the dropdown to select the number of fields you'd like all up; options are Make it tiny, Keep it short, or I'm flexible.
- When done, click
- If you don't like the result, feel free to tweak your prompt and any of the other options and run the preview again - you'll still be able to flick backwards and forwards between results using the arrows, as shown.
- Edit the name of your form / list if desired (you can always change it later).
- When ready, click . Our system will now create a new list using the name provided, and all of the fields you saw in the preview will be added to that list as well. Additionally, a form will be generated for you. Again - you don't have to use the form if you don't want to - you can just use this tool to create lists & fields if desired.
- Once created, you can either optionally edit the form's design / appearance or start uploading contacts into your new list. You can also link to your new form from an email or SMS, if desired.

- Next, set whether you want just a single question, the standard four or more options.
- Finally, set whether you'd prefer single-option answers, multiple choice or text for your answers.
- When done, click
- If you don't like the result, feel free to tweak your prompt and any of the other options and run the preview again - you'll still be able to flick backwards and forwards between results using the arrows.
- Edit the name of your survey/ list if desired (you can always change it later).
- When ready, click . Our system will now create a new list using the name provided, and all of the fields you saw in the preview will be added to that list as well.
