Each Message, Contact and List in our system has an associated unique ID. This allows you to filter by the ID, or even pull in certain data when using our API. In the guide below, we'll show you how to locate the ID for a Message, Contact or List.

The process for switching on the 'ID' field is the same in each section; regardless of whether you're viewing Messages, Contacts or Lists.
- Select either Messages, Contacts or Lists and Forms from the sidebar (depending on what you're after).
- Click the Table Settings (small ⚙️) icon towards the top-right of the table and click on the ID field, as shown below.
- Click to save your changes. The ID field is now available to view.
