This only works with email templates that contain an AI Content Assistant Block. This is because the AI Content Assistant needs to be told where it can place its content. If you would like to add an AI Content Assistant Block to your email template, please refer to the article Add an AI Content Assistant Block to an Existing Email Template.
- Select AI Content Assistant from the sidebar. The AI Content Assistant dialog will now open.
- Set the content type toggle to Email.
- Set the goal, tone and content length as desired.
- Next, enter a prompt for the AI Content Assistant and explain what you would like it to create. For example, you could write: "Promote our doughnut cooking class on August 23rd, at the XYZ Donuts store in Brisbane City", or "Help our staff complete their internal security training on time. There is a prize for the first person to complete it". You can also add additional prompts to your query, such as: "Use Australian English", and / or "Write it in the style of James Bond" - and so on.
- Click Remember, you can always edit or adjust the generated text later on.
- Once you're happy with the resulting text, click .
- The email template gallery will appear. Select a template as the basis for your email design. As noted earlier, this only works with email templates that contain an AI Content Assistant Block - so only those templates will show.
- The system will now create a brand new email for you (using your chosen template) and open it for editing. From this point forward, everything in the email is fully editable - as normal. You can add to it, remove sections, change the font formatting or colours, add wildcards, conditional content, add links into the text - even cut sections of text and paste them into other parts of your email if you wish.
- When done, click preview your message, then test it or run a Litmus inbox preview and then send your email when ready. . You can now
