Image in Email Appears Pixelated or Blurry (Images Compressed or Resized Upon Upload)

Details

By default, our system resizes large images down to 800 pixels high or wide (whichever is first) and adjusts the quality to 70%. However, this can be disabled if required.

As per email design best practices, using large images in emails (or creating an image-only email) is not recommended - as they increase the size of the email and may cause it to land in the spam folder if the message contains little to no non-image text. Furthermore, users with screen-reader software, a vision impairment or those who use a smart assistant (think Siri, Google Assistant, etc) to read emails out aloud will ignore your email.

How-to Guide

1. Select Files and Images from the sidebar. The Files & Images manager will now open.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Upload button.
3. Choose Upload Settings.
   
4. Disable the Resize images toggle.
5. Click Save, then close the Files & Images manager.
