How Will You Be Using the Platform?
It's also important to think about how you might be looking at using our SMS & email marketing platform. In other words;
- Option 1: Are you looking to use our platform to send Newsletters / Emails / Communication holistically, from the entire business? ...or,
- Option 2: Will different departments within your business use our platform to send their own communications, to different groups (lists) of people (contacts)?
The answer could change the way you setup your account and the way you manage your lists, forms, email preferences and so on.
Option 1 - One Team Will Use the Platform To Send Various Comms
If this use case suits your needs best, we'd recommend;
- Using a Master List (ie. one list of contacts).
- Using the Preferences function in our platform to determine which communication your users wish to receive (eg. News / Promotions / Events, etc) - contacts can then update these at any time.
- You can segment your contacts if required, to 'group' them.
- You can use Conditional Content within your message to send more targeted communication, while still using a single list.
Option 2 - Different Teams Will Use the Platform To Send Various Comms To Different Groups of People
- Each department would create & manage their own lists & SMS / email messages. Folders can be used to help with identification of assets.
- As there will be multiple lists, you'll also be able to create multiple subscription forms - so contacts can sign up to the various lists.
