Details
In most instances, the Dashboard (shown below) is the default view you'll see when logging into our emails & SMS marketing platform.
Dashboard Areas
The dashboard contains a number of different sections;
- (⚙️ icon, near the top right). lets you manage which cards are shown on your dashboard.
- The Performance section gives you quick access to account & send statistics, such as:
- Email sends panel: The number of email messages sent so far in the current billing period. For most accounts that's the current calendar month, so it resets to zero at the start of each month.
- Contacts panel: A near-realtime (generally updated every 5 minutes) count of the total contacts in the account.
- Open rate panel: The percentage of email messages opened, out of all emails sent in the last 30 days. This is calculated across all email sends in a rolling 30-day window - not just your most recent send.
- Click rate panel: The percentage of opens that resulted in a click, across email sends from the last 30 days. As outlined in more detail on our Reporting Overview, this is click-to-open, not clicks out of total sends. The figure is calculated across all email sends in a rolling 30-day window.
- View Insights will navigate to the Reporting section.
- The Recent Sends panel shows email & SMS messages that have been sent recently. Reporting statistics for these sends are also shown;
- For email messages, you'll see data for the Open rate, Click rate and Bounce rate.
- For SMS messages, you'll see data for Responded (when a contact replies to the SMS; if supported), Profile updated (if the contact updates their profile using a form as a result of the SMS) and Unsubscribed.
- Click the message name or the three-dot menu to view the full report for the send.
- Click the ⚙️ icon on the panel to set its options.
- The Recent messages panel shows messages that have recently been edited, either by you or other users in the account.
- Click the ⚙️ icon on the panel to set its options.
- The Upcoming sends panel shows upcoming (ie. scheduled) email & SMS sends, including the message name, scheduled date / time and list size for the send.
- The Quick Actions panel offers quick access to key functions, such as creating a new message, browsing templates, navigating to the Contacts area or viewing Reports.
- The Marketing Calendar panel lets you view your upcoming scheduled sends, view past sends as well as set tasks and reminders for other staff. Find out more about the Dashboard Marketing Calendar.
