Changing the System Footer to be Responsive Follow

The footer that is automatically appended to the bottom of your emails is set to be 550px wide when using either the raw HTML email type or the HTML only email type.

Since this is a set pixel width, it can interfere with the email being responsive.

If you're wanting your email to be responsive on portable devices, you will need to change this using CSS so the width uses percentage values instead of pixels.

If you're using a drag and drop template, however, you do not need to worry about this.

To change the nature of this table width :

Target the class "email_footer" with a media query.

@media only screen and (max-width:320px) { div.email_footer table { width: 100% !important; background: #fff; } }

If you're unsure as to how to do this, you may need to speak to your designer to get this implemented.
