If you discover that you have some duplicate records in your contact list, you may want to remove these additional records to ensure a clean database and potentially lower your account fees.
Clean your contact list
- Go to 'lists and forms' in your account.
- Select a list and choose 'Duplicates' from the Actions menu.
- Choose the field that you want to base the duplicate search on (e.g. All contacts who have the same 'Email' address) by clicking the "change duplicate contact options" link.
- All duplicates in this list will now be shown. You can go ahead and remove the duplicates by clicking the green "deduplicate contacts" button
