Modify the Footer of Your Emails
Only Pro-Marketer, Agency or Corporate accounts are able to adjust their email footer wording or hide our company logo. If you have one of these account types and are looking to make changes to your email footers, please review our additional headings below.
If you don't have one of these account types and only require minor changes made, such as adjusting the wording slightly, please contact our Support team and we can make these changes for you.
Modify the Footer of Your Corporate or Agency Account
This option applies only to Corporate (Head) and Agency accounts.
This affects all emails in your account AND in your client accounts - except where a custom footer has been applied to a client's account or specific email.
- Log into your Agency or Corporate (Head) account.
- Click Admin at the top right.
- Select Email Footer from the sidebar.
- Click the preview link to open a preview window of the current footer. Highlight & copy the text that you see in the preview - as you'll need to ensure you use these same system wildcards (for things like Authorised Sender, Email, Auto Links, etc) somewhere in your new footer design. This is in order to remain spam compliant.
- When done, close the preview window
- Tick the Use Custom Footer checkbox to edit the footer and create your footer as needed. Don't forget to paste or use the various system wildcards that were in the footer previously. Again, this is to ensure spam compliance.
- When done, click Text Footer. This version of the footer should be a close match to the HTML version where possible - eg. use the same text, links etc). Not doing so may result in the email having an increased risk of being detected as Junk/Spam when delivered. to modify the text version of the footer by clicking
- Click .
We recommend that you test the new footer and the links within, by sending yourself a test email.
Modify the Footer of a Single Client's Account
This option applies only to Corporate (Head) and Agency accounts.
This affects all emails in their account - except where a custom footer has been applied to a client's account or specific email.
- Log into your Agency or Corporate (Head) account.
- Click Admin at the top right.
- Locate the relevant account, select it from the list and then click Edit on the right.
- At the top of the Modify Account Details window, click Edit Footer.
- Click the preview link to open a preview window of the current footer. Highlight & copy the text that you see in the preview - as you'll need to ensure you use these same system wildcards (for things like Authorised Sender, Email, Auto Links, etc) somewhere in your new footer design. This is in order to remain spam compliant.
- When done, close the preview window
- Tick the Use Custom Footer checkbox to edit the footer and create your footer as needed. Don't forget to paste or use the various system wildcards that were in the footer previously. Again, this is to ensure spam compliance.

We recommend subscribing to a database within the account and sending yourself a copy of an email to ensure the footer appears correctly.
Modify the Footer of a Specific Email in Your Account (Or in a Client's Account)
This option applies only to Corporate (Head) and Agency accounts.
- Log into the relevant account.
- Select Messages from the sidebar.
- Locate the email to modify, select it and then select Edit Footer from the actions menu.
- Modify the HTML version of the footer as required and adding the spam compliant links back in (NB: It is possible to edit the HTML code of the footer by clicking in the toolbar).
- Next, modify the text version of the footer (this should be a very close match to the HTML version where possible - eg. use the same text, links etc). Not doing so may result in the email having an increased risk of being detected as Junk/Spam when delivered.
- Click .
We recommend that you test the new footer and the links within, by sending yourself a test email.
Further Notes
- To revert to the default footer when editing the head account footer, or an account wide footer, tick the Use Default Footer checkbox and then re-save the footer.
- Only Agency and Corporate account administrators are able to modify email footers. Your clients are not be able to change their email footers.
- Many Resellers charge their clients a fee to modify the email's footers, as changing the footer can take time and the client may also wish to remove the Reseller's logo image etc (meaning a potential loss in Marketing and lead generation).
